HOW IT STARTED
In 1912, Sterling G. McNees, co-founder of McNees Wallace and Nurick, began his law career in Apollo, Pennsylvania, a small borough 35 miles east of Pittsburgh. We chose to name our company after this town, which served as the launchpad for McNees and is today a bright example of the firm’s continuing growth and evolution.
Apollo, a revered figure in Greco-Roman mythology, was the god of sun, light, knowledge and reason — values that align with our commitment to honesty, transparency and professional excellence.
